As always, it will be our pleasure to serve you. ---------------- MY PERSONAL REVIEW: I recently went to the Phoenician Restaurant- the first time. I used to go to Bishop's in Lawrence, MA with family & was glad to hear some of the chefs from the old Bishop's opened Phoenician. The food was awesome - just as good as Bishop's! I had the Assortment plate for one. It was definitely a generous portion! The Grape Leaves, Stuffed Cabbage, cooked Kibbee were tasty & well-flavored. The rice was soft & the Lima Beans in sauce w/lamb was very good. The only way I like Lima Beans! The beans were not dry, either! I took a good amount home - about 1/2 or more. I don't get back to Haverhill often, but it we as well worth the trip! The move from Salem, NH to Haverhill, MA was a smart move, too! I'm glad the former Pat's Beef House became the Phoenician & Haverhill now has such a wonderful restaurant to enjoy their atmosphere & food! We didn't wait a long time for our food & the waitress was courteous. I completely recommend it to anyone! They also have a function room for groups & events.
