With the desire to serve up the best tasting Mexican food ever in Los Angeles, the Herrera family started what has become a bright spot on L.A.’s culinary map. The culmination of their efforts came in 2005 when Yuca’s won the coveted James Beard Award in the "America’s Classics" category.
