Varietals: 100% CorteseStraw-yellow with notes of stone fruit on the nose following through to citrus and meadow flowers on the palate. Fresh, crisp and elegant in an effortless way; this is an exceptionally beautiful representation of the area. Ageing: The hand-picked grapes thrive on the family owned hillsides, well exposed to the sun and coastal breezes. Harvest is immediately followed by soft pressing and “in bianco” vinification at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats. No malolactic fermentation.
2021 ‘frassitelli’ Biancolella Ischia Doc, Casa D’ambra, Campania_750ml (12.5% Abv)
Varietals: 100% Biancolella.Fruit is sourced from a single four-hectare vineyard on a steep cliff overlooking the Mediterranean; an example of "extreme viticulture" given the challenges of harvesting in these conditions. Straw yellow with golden highlights; the bouquet shows yellow fruit, herbs and notes of sea salt and honey. The wine is as unique as it is beautiful.Ageing: 8 months in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation.
2021 ‘sole Alto’ Nosiola Trentino Doc, Marco Donati, Trentino, 750ml (12.5% Abv)
100% Nosiola.A native varietal (the name means hazelnut). Straw yellow in colour with clean fruity aromas of wild apple, pear and mint. A firm acid core with some roundness; the wine is fresh and crisp and nicely balanced by alcohol.

It is a full-bodied wine of quick and easy approach which demonstrates how the Sangiovese can also be soft and pleasant, far from any roughness and aggressiveness.Ageing/Vinification: Fermented at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for about three weeks with punching down at regular intervals. Short passage in oak barrels followed by bottle ageing before sale.

Varietals: 100% Montepulciano.From the local dialect “Merula” meaning blackbird, this is a tribute to the birds that appear every year on the vineyards at the end of the harvest. A deep ruby red wine with notes of berries, licorice, and dark chocolate. Slight minerality on the nose with a firm and persistent structure, enriched by a fresh peppermint finish.Ageing: Maceration with the skins lasts 25 days. Aged in new French barrique for 8-10 months, then 15 months in the bottle before release.
