Rugbrod (traditional Danish Rye Bread)

Rye Flour, Rye Levain (Wild Yeast), Whole Rye Kernels, Sunflower Seed, Flax Seed, Water, Salt. This is a very traditional dark rye bread - wrap well and store in the fridge, it will keep for a long while. (do not leave it on the counter, as it is a very well hydrated bread which may attract spores from the environment, turning it bad)

Sour Cherry Pie

Sour cherries are a different genus of cherry - not really sour, just tart. We love them because they have a little more natural pectin; thickening the pie most deliciously. 8 servings.Often we get our sour cherries from Jobsthof Farms in Oyama, BC - they pit the cherries at the farm, and occasionally a bit gets through - so watch for them.(vegetarian - we do not use lard - butter makes a nice flaky crust too!)
