Classic Village Combo

Halal. Jerk chicken, jollof rice, sweet + spicy plantain (spicy -rice and chicken is spicy).

Food Truck Village Combo

Garlic parmesan chicken served with truffle oil greens and corn cakes over a bed of turmeric rice. Not spicy.

Elder Village Combo

Vegetarian. Contains peanut and milk. Maafe rice (maafe peanut stew over jollof rice *both somewhat spicy), akara (black eyed pea fritter), corn cakes (not spicy contains a small amount of parmesan cheese) vegetarian dish.

Cool Village Combo

Halal. Curry chicken, jollof rice, sweet + spicy plantain (rice is spicy).

Mild Village Combo

Halal. Lemon pepper jerk chicken, turmeric rice, ginger curry chickpeas *some say the lemon pepper jerk is spicy. Rice and chickpeas are not spicy.

Just Plants Village Combo

Yam stew with sweet and spicy plantain and ginger curry chickpeas served over a bed of coconut/turmeric rice. Very good. Not spicy.

Maafe Stow Rice

Dairy free, nuts, vegan. Peanut stew or groundnut stew, also called as maafe (wolof, mafé, maffé, maffe), sauce d'arachide (French), tigadèguèna or domoda, is a stew or sauce that is a staple food in western Africa. It is a favorite dish among several Senegal and Gambia ethnic groups. With the huge expansion of groundnut cultivation during the colonial period, maafe has also become a popular dish across west Africa, even outside west Africa such as in Cameroon and France. Egusi Stew

Egusi (also known by variations including agusi, agushi) is the name for the fat- and protein-rich seeds of certain cucurbitaceous plants (squash, melon, gourd), which after being dried and ground are used as a major ingredient in West African cuisine.We cook ours with smoked herring and spinach. It is a great soup for those who like to try something different every once in a while. Ground Egusi seeds give this soup a unique color and flavor.

Chicken Okra Stew

Akara

Dairy free, vegan. Akara (as it is known in southwest and southeast Nigeria) a recipe taken to brazil by the enslaved peoples from the west African coast. It is called "Akara" by the yoruba people of south-western Nigeria and by the citizens of sierra Leone, "Kosai" by the hausa people of Nigeria or "Koose" in Ghana and is a popular breakfast dish, eaten with millet or corn pudding. In Nigeria, akara is commonly eaten with bread, ogi (or eko), a type of cornmeal made with fine corn flour.
