Ale Asylum
Ale Asylum is located on Madison’s North Side and has been serving the masses topnotch craft beer since 2006. In 2012, they moved to a new facility that is freestanding on 5 acres, 45,000 square feet and offers up an additional 85,000 square feet when the need arises. Their current facility has allowed them the advantage to brew in a 33-barrel brew house, the ability to enhance their sustainable practices and an automated bottling and canning line. Ale Asylum Brewmaster Dean Coffey is steadfast on brewing all-natural, unfiltered beer in the spirit of the German Purity Law. In addition to carrying a full line up of their beer, the brewery’s Tasting Room serves a seasonal food menu and offers a full bar. Brewery tours are on Sundays from 12-5, every hour on the hour and include and special tasting and the pint of your choice.
