Mob Grill (Marco's Onion Burger Grill)
Parlor is a collection of chefs and mixologists coming together to advance the concept of what a restaurant/bar could be within an eclectic atmosphere. Celebrating the Automobile Alley neighborhood, Parlor is a place for people to relax and socialize while enjoying artisan cocktails, craft beer, and phenomenal food from all walks of life. MOB Grill pulls both its look and its menu from old-school Oklahoma. Its branding nods to the gangster history of the Midwest, and its menu features one of the state’s favorite dishes, the onion burger. MOB is named after owner Marco Morrow (MOB stands for “Marco’s onion burgerâ€) and he started making the onion burgers after spending time in El Reno, Oklahoma, the home of the burger. It’s also his wife’s hometown. Morrow and co-owner Seth Barker also run MOB as a popular, award-winning food truck that serves hand-cut fries and several other MOB-themed signature sandwiches, along with hand-cut fries seasoned with their signature “bada bing†spice. Marco’s burger is a modern take on the classic: He marinates the onions in a secret sauce, softening their pungency and adding zing, then pairs them with a fresh-ground black Angus patty. MOB’s burgers are served on buns made locally at OKC’s La Baguette.
