Water Street Restaurant

They have been in business for fifteen years. Located in the Quince Building, used originally as a peanut warehouse, the decor is true to its era, complete with the elevator once used for transporting peanuts upstairs. They have seating available inside (smoking or non-smoking) and outside on the patio, which is enclosed by flower boxes full of pansies and lilies that run parallel to the Cape Fear River. They host live music Thursday through Sunday of every week, and have done so longer than any venue in downtown Wilmington. Most of the entertainment falls into the blues genre.
